BIMReview received praise in the software review conducted by AEC Magazine, the well-respected Building Information Modelling (BIM) journal for Architecture, Engineering and Construction.
Following an explanation of the benefits of BIMReview, the affordable BIM collaborative review and visual communication tool from initial design to the construction site, at AceCad’s head office in Derby, UK; plus a sneak preview of what’s to come in the near future; AEC Magazine’s Greg Corke, downloaded BIMReview from www.bim-review.com to take the time to test it out for himself
BIMReview is a solution to import BIM models and associated data from multiple CAD sources for effective review and visual communication. With BIMReview users can view all of their 3D models combined; plan projects with inbuilt Gantt charts; clarify schedules and resolve clashes; plus exchange models, files and information with others in the construction supply chain.
Greg tested the software rigorously to put together an honest and comprehensive review.
Greg comments:
‘AceCad has packed a vast amount of new functionality into BIMReview... Where BIMReview really excels is with its BIMShare, the ability to share key information to other members in the supply chain to enable collaboration more fluently. And with good application of data there’s huge potential to take more control over a project as it moves from design into construction.’
