AceCad Software are pleased to announce further enhancements to their market leading model export functionality from Tekla.
Current users of the BIMReview export from Tekla already benefit from an advanced model output including all associated attribute data, drawings and nc information. With the addition of this brand new and unique enhancement, users can now take greater control of their plate naming.
A second tab within the BIMReview export allows users to use the profile thickness exclusively as the item name. The user can also look at existing plate name information from the Tekla model, and apply new naming prefixes as required. E.g. any existing plates within the Tekla model with a prefix of PLT can have that prefix changed to P within the exported BIMReview model.
This process not only allows users of BIMReview to see plate data in a way that they want, but also allows for added ease and simplicity when mapping to section sizes inside the StruM.I.S catalogue.
